The Female Cultivator In The World Of Men

Chapter 16 - 16.Just The Right Task For You

Inside a dark room, a tall lady clad in a beautiful green robe with just the right amount of exposure of her fair skin and her ample bosom, was fiddling with her storage room as she took out high grade medicines and silver needles.

With a flick of her finger, she lighted the fragrant smelling candles and placed them on either side of a bed which was located in the middle of the room.

Her movements were swift and precise, and without any wasted moment, she had prepared all the necessary equipments, artifacts and medicine required to help with the healing and nourishment of meridians.

Elder Lin carefully brought out a jade white bottle from her spatial ring and carefully placed them on the table beside the bed.

Her slender fingers that were tightly clasped around the narrow neck of the bottle could be seen trembling slightly in the dim light provided by the candle.

"I think its time." Elder Lin looked at the bright moon on the sky and sighed.

She really did not want to do this. But she has no choice apart from this. No matter how much hatred she garnered towards Le Family and their descendants, her duty as the in charge of Cherry Blossom Pavilion came first and foremost.

This was the least she could do for the Grandmaster who took her in when she had lost all her hopes as a kid...

Sigh...

\'Let\'s not think about these things.\' Elder Lin waved away her thoughts and opened the door of the room.

It was the inner chamber of a secret room located in the eastern wing inside the residence of Elder Lin.

It was around mid night when she made her way out of the room.

She picked up her bamboo paper fan and opened the main door of the residence.

Before she could step outside, she stopped on her way as she looked at the figure in front of her.

"You!!" Elder Lin knitted her brows as she looked at a tall and slim figure of a girl who was wearing the robe of the Inner Court disciple of the Sect.

"What are you doing here at this time?" Elder Lin stepped forward step by step, slowly approaching the girl.

"Elder Lin.." The girl who spoke had a young voice but over time, they were filled with hoarseness and coarseness that fir neither the face of the young lady nor her voice.

"I heard the Le Family child is here…Is that true?" The disciple stepped forward and looked at Elder Lin with eyes which were as fierce as of a wounded beast.

The golden yet dim light from the fire stand on the either side of the entrance gate fell on her face, finally revealing her features that had hidden under the thick blanket of the dark night.

Despite with a well maintained face that looked like it belonged to a beautiful, delicate and rich young miss from a high and Nobel family, the girl gave off a heavy and dominating aura that seemed to arise from her pure existence itself.

Combined with her angry and resentful eyes, the girl looked much fiercer with the burning fire beside her. To Elder Lin, it looked like a scene straight out of a movie she had never watched.

"So you are here about the Le girl again….I see…" Elder Lin could do nothing but let out a sigh as she looked at the disciple before her.

"Unn." The female disciple was the one who had been under her for a few years before she left for her mission in the lower realm under the instruction of the grandmaster and Sect leader.

"What do you need?" Elder Lin decided to solve the problem here first before she went to fetch the real source of the problem who was probably doing something about the task she gave her inside the jungle.

"And you are An Cheng, aren\'t you?" Elder Lin added with a little bit of doubt. It was not her memory that had problem but it was more like the girl before her had changed a lot in the past few years.

"Elder Lin..You do remember me." An Cheng approached Elder Lin and bowed down before her. Her hurried steps clearly indicated her anxious and excited states.

"Of course I do. I even met your twin brother today when he brought in the Le girl." Elder Lin nodded her head while she secretly thought that smile really suited people the best.

But with in a short time, her expression stiffened again when she heard the name Le and remembered about the fact she had come here this late at night.

While others were busy enjoying the free night to themselves, she had decided to take a walk under the cool moonlit sky to cool off herself.

She was not planning to go and disturb Elder Lin anyway but she had not expected her to be out in the night like this.

Stumbling upon Elder Lin was purely a coincidence from heaven.

"Yes, you head correct. She was here some time ago." Elder Lin answered her. She decided to wait for a while before heading towards Le Fangling.

"Ohh…I see…An Lin did not lie to me." An Cheng nodded her head. She opened and closed her mouth to say something more but she stopped herself.

She thought about her idiotic twin brother who was running around with female disciples at his disposal and about the rumor saying the new Le Fangling girl had a face and body that could rival even the goddess from upper realm.

"Do you hate the new Le girl because of that reason?" Elder Lin asked without caring about the fact she was poking an old wound by asking that.

"About that…" An Cheng paused for a while and shook her head.

"I am sorry to disturb the elder…Then, I will take my leave." An Cheng knew she had interrupted Elder Lin\'s work, so she decided to quickly excuse herself from her presence.

Elder Lin looked at the bowing girl with a softened expression. As she was about to watch her go, she thought about just the right task for the little girl before her.

"Wait a moment, Disciple An." Elder Lin called out to her.

An Cheng halted on her step and turned around immediately. "Is there something for me Elder?" She asked with a face full of confusion.

"Heh…" Elder Lin let out a soft scoff.
